From students to practitioners.

The late Master Daphne Bigcas said that the role of a Pranic Healing instructor wasn’t to produce new students, but to help create new practitioners. I was very fortunate in my early years of studying Pranic Healing that my mentor, Chandan Parameswara, was new to the United States and was still working full time as an engineer. This allowed him more free time to answer all of my deep spiritual questions in addition to keeping me grounded in practicality. The time I spent with him shaped me as a teacher and practitioner of Pranic Healing which directly translated into how I practice acupuncture.

Once my mentor’s schedule filled up, and be began teaching throughout the country every weekend, my precious time with him became more limited. There felt there was something I was yearning for that only was fulfilled when I could share with others a similar mentoring style that Chandan had given me.

What I found was that many students also yearned for deeper study, but there wasn’t an open avenue where we could gather and discuss Pranic Healing in a semi-formal way. With that in mind, I created a monthly mentorship program to keep students engaged in the material and being able to address questions and concerns that were out of the context of the workshops.
